2010 Recap

Highlights of 2010...

January
*Welcomed our second "niece" into the world, Miss Alli Jane
*Went on an amazing retreat to Big Bear with the college group at church
*Met our new neighbors!

February
*Finally learned how to shoot as my Valentine's Day present!
*Brandon went back to school!

March
*Began working for my dear friend, Julie, as accountant for her business, RubyLoveDesigns
*Enjoyed a weekend trip to SLO for my cousin's wedding

April
*Spent most of the month sick with a NASTY sinus infection :(

May
*Fellowshipped my way through May
*My SIL came to visit!!

June
*Started memorizing Psalm 119
*Began "More Than Enough"
*Welcomed another "niece" into the world...Miss Reese Jewel!
*Finished my photography course at NYIP
*Went to the Resolved Conference in Palm Springs

July
*Celebrated 2 years with my love
*Lots of fellowship {it's great having summers off!}

August
*Organized for friends!
*Discovered an old friend lived down the block and reconnected!
*Celebrated lots of birthdays!
*Celebrated our pastor's 10 year anniversary at Calvary
*{MUCH NEEDED} Spa Day with my MIL!
*More fellowship!

September
*Back to work!
*Brandon started a CRAZY semester at school...we went into relative seclusion!
*Returned to our women's Bible Study...studying Numbers
*Restarted my small group in Santa Clarita, finishing up Romans
*I lost my cat, Screamer, to a sudden heart attack, just shy of 10 years.

October
*Headed to Minneapolis for the Desiring God conference
*Attended the Women's Conference at church with Elyse Fitzpatrick
*Tried to stay afloat through the busyness of life

November
*Celebrated another year of life.
*Endured sinus infection #2 of the year...this time armed and prepared!

December
*Crammed in as much holiday festivities as possible while giving Brandon the chance to study for finals!
*Brandon finished up a year of school, with just one more semester to go!
*I finished Romans!
*Celebrated many engagements and pregnancies {not us...yet!}

...and those are just the highlights! We were immensely blessed in 2010, and while we did not get our ultimate wish of becoming pregnant {well, December remains to be seen!} and experienced some very difficult trials throughout the year, we wouldn't trade those experiences...and what we learned, for anything. We see our Father's loving and sovereign hand over each event that happened in 2010 and we know that will continue to be the case in 2011. May He get all the glory in this coming year, and may our lives prove that He is more than enough...
