Our Favorite Things

Since Aaron is now finally able to take in the world around him, we have discovered our first "favorites."

Bright Starts Tummy Time Cruiser

While Aaron prefers to stand and look to actually using it, as intended, it is a favorite. He will spend close to 20 minutes starting at it and analyzing every little design.

Look, Look! by Peter Linenthal

Our favorite first book with lots of wonderful high-contrast pictures to stare at. We read it daily and it hasn't gotten old yet.

Praise Baby DVD

Heard about this from a friend and thought I would look it up. When the sample videos caught Aaron's undivided attention on the net, I knew we had to purchase it. Think Baby Einstein with Christian worship music. We watch one short clip at a time and he absolutely loves it!

Seeds Family Worship

Julie first turned us on to this awesome ministry and we haven't stopped listening since! Their songs are straight Scripture put to music in a really fun way; all their albums are great! I have already memorized so many verses just from listening to their albums again and again...and again! Highly recommend! 

Tiny Love's Travel Mobile

When my Cousin Erin informed us that Aaron was intently watching his mobile while we were out one evening, we attempted to mount one over his changing table and it worked like a charm: he smiles and coos at it over and over again. Well, when were certain he loved them, we found this gem online. We thought, hey...maybe this will work to distract him in the car. We've only tried it a few times but it has been successful every time and we are excited! Don't worry; ours isn't as girly as the one pictured. :)

Infantino Rattle Pal

This was actually the first toy that Aaron paid attention to; he got it for Christmas and has been so into it ever since. And milestone: it's the first toy he actually GRABBED!! Yay!! :)

PhotoBooth

 

What can I say? Aaron absolutely LOVES PhotoBooth. He can be screaming his head off (like he was right before this picture, note the tears) but the second I turn on PhotoBooth, he stops and staaaaares, for endless amounts of time. I get "quiet time" and we get fun pictures out of it.

Can't wait to see what other things begin to capture his attention as he continues to grow!
