Two Months

Well, we've made it to two months already! Time flies when you're having fun!

Aaron is growing like a weed (well, a lovable weed)! 

At our two month appointment we found out the stats:

Weight: 10 lbs 13.2 oz (25% percentile)

Height: 24.6 inches (Doc didn't give percentile on this; all he did was look at us and say: "I'm not sure where that comes from"...LOL...Aaron did not get his height from us!)

While he is still a pretty fussy (aka grumpy) baby, he has become more fun as he is now smiling SO much and is "talking" with us! He now adores being on the changing table so, in turn, we spend most of our waking moments on it. He still HATES the car, as well as the swing, but LOVES the stroller now so we walk EVERYWHERE (and Mommy gets some fresh air and great exercise!).

He has officially rejected being swaddled and is now sleeping 5-6 hr stretches at night (last night was 7!). Aaron has put himself on a great daytime schedule (much to Mommy's delight)...typically sleeping for about 2 hours at a time, three to four times a day! 

He is an eating machine! He takes only about 5-10 minutes to eat and then he's ready to greet the world with lots of smiles, but not a second before. He is SUPER grumpy when hungry and always wakes up screaming, just to make sure I understand that it's time to eat! (He gets that from Daddy...well, not the waking up screaming part! :)

His personality continues to develop and it's fun (and scary at times) to see how much he takes after each of us. Unfortunately, all the reasons I did not want to have a girl (i.e. they'd be too much like me and I couldn't handle that) have shown up in Aaron, as he is starting to exude all of my bad qualities. :{ Apparently, we'll both have a lot of learning and repenting to do in the upcoming years as all my sinful tendencies stare me back in the face, forcing me to deal with them! 

We continue to love this little guy, though, and are enjoying every moment being his parents, even when he's a grump. :)
