Minneapolis

Tomorrow morning we leave for a mini-vacation to Minneapolis! We are specifically going there for a conference, Desiring God, which is hosted by the church where one of Brandon's favorite preachers (John Piper) is lead pastor. The conference is entitled: Think: The Life of the Mind and the Love of God. We are super excited to hear some of today's greatest preachers and to take in some excellent (and convicting) teaching!

We are also excited to just have some time away, together, from the hustle and bustle that has become our lives. We will only be gone 4 short days but we are super thankful for this chance to get away. Thankfully, we will have some free time to do a little sight-seeing and we will be trying to cram as much of that in as possible. And, you better believe, we'll try to make our way to The Mall of America for a little tax-free shopping! Add to that cooler weather (I've never been more excited at the thought of 50 degree temps!) and actual Fall colors and we have a winner of a trip!
